Hi there mini owners. Fitting your 2019 mini Cooper S we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Blue Ox's style wiring kit. Our blue ox wiring kit will take all the lighting signals from your motor home and transfer them to the lights here at the back of your vehicle. This will allow people behind you to know your intentions when going down the road. And the purpose of the diodes is to allow those signals to route here, to our light, to illuminate the light, but it acts as a one way check valve that prevents that current that's flowing from the motor home, from back feeding into the circuitry on our vehicle and causing any damage to it. This is my favorite option for setting up a flat toe is to use a diode setup. more

Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit Installation - 2006 Mini Cooper- Video
Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2006 Mini Cooper, and I want to walk you through how to install Roadmasters LED bulb and socket kit. Bulb and socket kit, or the LED light kit, is gonna be designed to transfer light signals back to the back of your vehicle when it's being flat towed. The difference between diode kits and your bulb and socket is, diode kits are designed to tie into factory wiring, where the bulb and socket requires you to drill a hole into the light, and then use the separate bulb. That way it doesn't affect or interfere with any wiring on the vehicle itself. Now with the Mini Cooper, it actually, the wires cannot be tied into so you can't use a diode kit. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Mini Countryman, we're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to install, the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, part number RM-152-98146-7.This is what our diode kit looks like when it's installed. This is going to be one of five main components on a flat tow set up. The other four are going to be your braking system, your base plate, your tow bar, and your safety cables.Now what the diode kit is going to do for you, it's going to allow you to transfer your lighting signals from your RV into your car, or into your towed vehicle, while it's being flat towed. It is a fairly straightforward installation. You're going to have about 30 foot of wire, it's going to come in your kit, along with your 6-pole plug, and then your 4-diodes.You're going to run that wire from the front of the vehicle to the back, and it's going to split off and go to each taillight. Now with this particular installation, you will need to purchase resistors. more

Today, on this 2010 Mini Clubman we're going to review and install the Roadmaster tail light wiring kit for towed vehicles, part number RM-152-LED. Let's go ahead and cover what comes with this part number. First off we've got our lights right here. These are our LED lights right here that go into the socket that gets installed into your tail light. These wires are for our ground, running light circuit, turn signal and brake. You get two of these, one for each side. This comes with a length of wire here to run to the front of your vehicle and your connector. more

Pilot Wireless Magnetic Tow Lights Installation - 2010 Mini Cooper- Video
Today on our 2010 Mini Cooper we're going to be installing the pilot magnetic tow lights. There are the red LED style, part number is NV-5164. The pilot lights are designed to work in many different amplications 00:00:13, and these are going to take care of your tail-light, your turn, and any of your stop light functions. As you can see the light is a nice compact, I'd 00:00:27 only have one for each side of the vehicle. They're clearly labeled, so you have the right one on the right side. You've got a magnetic base and it's going to have a fully rubberized cover or protection sleeve around here, that we will not have to worry about scratching the vehicle's paint or anything like that. That's really easy to use, set up. It's going to wirelessly transmit any of the lighting functions back to your lights, and they'll be fully functioning. It's got a nice carrying handle. more

Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit Installation - 2009 Mini Cooper- Video
Today, on this 2009 Mini Cooper, we're going to install part number RM-155 from Roadmaster. The first thing we're going to do is start from the front of our car and work our way back. To help run our wire through our grill, we're going to use a piece of airline tubing. This could also be a piece of fish wire or another piece of wire, to help it through. We'll run it through the grill, and then underneath, where we can reach it. Next, we'll load our wire harness. It has two 4-pull ends on it. Doesn't matter which end, but we need to remove one. more
